So im stuck with trying to passthru a GPU to my VM, trying to run windows 10 and in the settings seems fine and have my GPU selected but nothing, my server has on board video thats dedicated to unraid and then i have the secondary GPU for my VM, ill post below but i just cant get windows to see the GPU at all, i can remote connect to the server but its seems like it doesn't see the GPU at all in device manager, it doesn't even see any video output but it still works thru remote desktop apps like parsec and chrome remote desktop, here's my specs: CPU: 4x Xeon E7-4850 40 Core 80 Threads Total Motherboard: IBM G0E181BUS-1.81 Ram: 1024GB DDR3 ECC HDD: 2x 500GB SAS Onboard GPU: Matrox MGA G200EV PCIE GPU: Radeon HD 5770 1GB Also theres no video that outputs thru the Secondary GPU that i have selected for the VM, ive tried GPU dumping the bios and Both Seabios and OVMF but im at a loss... there is also a driver that i cant find any information on, its a PCI Express root complex but feels testdasi Posted March 19, 2020 Share Posted March 19, 2020 When copy-pasting text output from Unraid, please use the forum code functionality (the </> button next to the smiley button) so the text is formatted correctly. It's otherwise incredibly hard to read when scrolling through your long post. With Q35 machine type, stick to OVMF. Also attaching the diagnostics zip may provide some clues (Tools -> Diagnostics -> attach zip file). Quote Link to comment
