slize Posted March 22, 2020 Share Posted March 22, 2020 (edited) I'm searching for a way to store my passphrase on the unraid usb/flash device to autostart the disk array. For what i'm using encryption: To be able to send a failed drive to the manufacturer in a warrenty case. For what i'm not using encryption: To secure my data in case of a stolen server. So yes, i know that it would be useless to store the key on the same machine as the encrypted disks. It would be great if someone got a solution for me :-).
