Share Replication?

Featured Replies

With the new 5 supporting plugins, i'm really hoping someone builds a plugin that will allow me to simply and easy replicate shares from one unraid to my remote "backup" unraid.

Does anyone have something like this in the works?

With the 5.0 series still under development I would be surprised if anything is in the works.  There is still to much stuff up in the air to start something like this.

rsync would be the logical choice for something like this and a web frontend could probably be added once 5.0 is more along.

I would put a stable 5.0 probably 6 months out or so. Assuming some of the stuff that was mentioned is incorporated into 5.0 (AFP, proper/better plugin support, etc).

I DO NOT want to see a rushed 5.0 come out that does not have the above mentioned stuff included in it.
