Hi All

 

I have temp controlled fans, but they dont ever stop completely, and when things get hot, they are not fast enough.

 

I want to be able to mount large and turbineclass fans, to deal with the heat when the server is working hard, but the controller should feel when nothing is going on and all drives are sleeping and the Celeron CPU is napping too.

 

Any suggestions ?

 

Note: somehow the horisontal mounting of harddrives and horisontal movement of air, seem "stupid". Has anyone seen cabinets constructed with vertical mounted harddrives and upwards, from bottom to top, air movement. It seem like more logical to have thermodynamics (I think it is called) working for you.
