December 24, 201015 yr My unraid boc connects nicely with my gigabit network... TP-Link wireless router. If my router loses power for some reason, Unraid will NOT re-establish an IP address. All other machines on my network - wired and wireless, will properly re-establish their connection... Including the IPMI connection through the same exact network connection on my motherboard. But unraid loses connectivity. ifconfig yields a HW address but no IP address. Bringing the interface "down" then "up" has no effect. Un-plugging the ethernet cord has no effect. I can reboot but would prefer not to do that every time something like this happens. Any recommendations? Edit: Just to add - while my switch went down with a power outage, my unraid box is on a UPS and now has an uptime of five days.
December 24, 201015 yr Author Ok that's interesting - another reboot of the switch and it can get an ip address. Just to add.. I know it may seem strange I didn't try that earlier, but this has happened before so it seemed like more of a systemic problem somewhere other than just a one time glitch.
