craigvrs89 Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 Hi there I am just after some advice. I am looking at building my next Gaming PC where I can play off the PC and where my wife can use it too to play her games too. I am trying to work out what CPU and Motherboard to go for as I would like to try and future proof myself as much as I can for future releases of games what could use more cores. Some it up is 1PC 2 gamers. Any advice is appreciated 👍 Many thanks Craig Quote
KptnKMan Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 (edited) Hardware in my Signature works pretty well for what I'm doing, which is the same thing. 👍 This post is written using my virtualised, VR-gaming setup on unraid. 👍 Edited May 6, 2020 by KptnKMan Quote

Definitely, without question. I do all of those things now and more. I would say that I don't use Nextcloud, but there are some options for running exactly this in a docker container. You can find them in Community Apps, for example: Quote
Shadow01 Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 Hi KtpNKMan thx for your answer. That CPU is a 4 Core if I‘m right. I both VMs are running you give them 2CPU per VM? thanke you Quote
KptnKMan Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 @Shadow01 You should research the basic hardware before you look to purchase what other people are doing, its not too difficult. Quote
