[SOLVED] v6.8.3 - USB connected UPS keeps disconnecting\reconnecting

Hi all,  I've been having no luck in tracking down a solution to this problem.  I have a Dynamix Defender UPS and I'm trying to get it working with Unraid.  If I connect it to a Windows VM it works fine, but I don't want to do that.  I really want it to work under Unraid.  I found an old forum post (6 years old) that similar but not sure if its the same.  It's referring to slackware, but the symptoms are very similar.  I would appreciate any help that could be given.
