Secondary DNS server fails

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.

I am running Unraid Plus 6.8.2 on one of my servers and recently added it to an active directory domain. Everything has been working to my needs up until now.

I have tried installing the community apps plugin and has given me the below error;

plugin: installing: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/plugins/community.applications.plg
plugin: downloading https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/plugins/community.applications.plg
plugin: downloading: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/plugins/community.applications.plg ... failed (Network failure)
plugin: wget: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/community.applications/master/plugins/community.applications.plg download failure (Network failure)

I have looked into this believing that it is due to my DNS only pointing internally. However when trying to add a secondary DNS server of 8.8.8.8 or x.x.x.1 (Router) it completely disconnects from the network forcing me to physically log into the terminal and undo the changes in /boot/config/network.cfg.

The primary DNS is pointing to my domain controller on x.x.x.2 and the gateway is pointed at x.x.x.1.

Any advice on getting this working would be appreciated

Changed over to DHCP rather than static addressing and the plugins are now installing but still have the issue when pointing the DNS server to the domain controller
