June 15, 20206 yr Hi all, Hope you are all well. This has been going on, for quite a while, I have been using Unraid for around 4 months and love it. But I often get an issue, where when I start to play a film in emby/Jelly or copy a file to the server all of a sudden, I lose access to the webui and I cannot ping the server. It will be in this state for about 40 seconds and then it will come back online and be fine. I tried several different things, including a new NIC, switch etc. Until I realised it seems to be happening on disk spin up. I haven't tested what happens if i prevent disk spin down, as the realization of what was going on only came to me this morning. Don't ask me why, it has only just come to me. Any ideas why this would be taking so long to spin up and why it would cause the webui to hang? I have 1 x 2TB Parity, 2 x 2TB & 1 x 2TB in the array and 2 x 250GB SSD Cache drives. I can upload the diagnotic logs this afternoon, when I get home from work, if needed. Thanks
