Novice. I have an HP Elitedesk 705 G3 MT with an AMD Pro A6-8570 processor. Looking to upgrade this low-end computer with a Ryzen. I notice that all the aftermarket processors are not Pro versions of the processor. HP docs list available processor upgrades but all are Pro versions. Other than the Pro versions being locked to prevent overclocking, is there any other significant differences between the aftermarket non-Pro versions of the processor and HP's Pro version? The specs look identical between the Pro and non-Pro other than the Pro being locked down.
