GPU recommendation for passthrough as primary and only gpu

Hi,

It would we great if anyone can confirm which GPU will work as primary GPU running in pci-e 3.0 x16 and being passthroughed.

I am looking for a "cheap" GPU ... in the range of nvidia 1660 or similar.

Just want to avoid the mistake I did years ago with the gt610.
