This is my first attempt at unraid, and I can't get the usb to boot.

 

I'm using an Intel DG965WH board with a 1.6 Celeron processor.

Also using a sandisk cruzer usb.

 

I can't see to get the computer to boot from the USB. 

 

Please help.

You should probably remove U3 software from that sandisk cruzer U3 usb-stick before installing unRAID to it. You can uninstall it from U3 software that runs when you put it in usb port under windows.

 

no "should probably" remove it, you have to. unRAID won't work with that stupid U3 partition out there. Drove me crazy at first. :D

Good thing i removed it to begin with then :)
