M motherboard has been consistantly been giving me issues so I put everything on a AS Rock K7VT4A that I had laying around.  When I boot I get a message that says

"Could not find kernel image : linux"

 

Any ideas on how to get around this ?

im pretty sure i posted this error to the wiki and its an incompatibility with certain USB keys

you can see if the replacement motherboard bios can be upgraded.
