October 2, 20205 yr Hi, I haven't tried Unraid yet, but I am searching for the solution to my problem. One of my coworkers has a large database of photos on his computer that I would like to access remotely. Both of us use Macs, his is relatively new but mine is from 2013. My problem is: can we both be logged in and working at the same time? He would be working right there on the Mac but I would be accessing it remotely. Can we both work simultaneously without interrupting each other? I have looked into VNC and Teamviewer, but I am new to remote access. Can Unraid address this problem? Also, he has multiple hard drives of various sizes that the pictures could be stored on. I guess I am asking if I could access a hard drive from his computer remotely. Thanks.
October 2, 20205 yr If you are remote, then he will be the one with the Unraid server? Not clear from your question that you understand Unraid is a NAS OS and must run on another computer besides the MACs.
