October 25, 20205 yr So suddenly unRAID can't be discovered by its name, but can be discovered by its IP address. None of my computers can see unRAID and this includes Win 7 and 10 as well as Linux. None of my media players can find it either. However, the guest Windows 10 can see unRAID, but the GUI often loads slowly. I tried turning OFF local master as it had been on before but this did not help. Everything is on the same WORKGROUP. I'm at a loss. This seems to have started when I got Windows 10 to first discover unRAID, but now none of my Win10 machines can find it either except the VM using the virtual network on unRAID its self. Any ideas? October 25, 20205 yr Author Addid to my SMB config: domain master = yes preferred master = yes os level = 255 Still no luck. Also turned local master back on in the unRAID web GUI. Also, unplugged the Nvidia Shield that took over as local master when unRAID wasn't. Here is a new log. Still no luck. This really sucks and I am so over it. craigr unraid-diagnostics-20201025-1437.zip Edited October 25, 20205 yr by craigr
October 25, 20205 yr Author And to add, I can see unRAID on the network in Windows 10 but I get a connection error when I try and brows it, my DUNE media players can see unRAID, but when I click on it the unRAID folder is empty, and my Windows 7 machines can't see it at all. Previously existing paths still work in the DUNE and Shield players, but trying to brows is impossible. WTF! craigr
