(SOLVED) unRAID does not let me select new drive

Featured Replies

Hello All,

I just recently received some free SAS drives and when I got them, unRAID would not see the drives. Doing some Googling, it looked like the issue was the drives were set to 520 sector size. So, I reformatted the drive to 512 sector size, but it still doesn't see the drive?

If I go to Tools -> System Devices -> SCSI Devices the drives show there, but the size isn't listed.

Any help appreciated!

I actually did not. I figured the drives would show up after the format. After I restarted they finally showed up and man do I feel dumb, thanks for the help and the reply!
