10GBe linked but no connection

Hi all,

 

I don't know if this is the right place, otherwise feel free to move the thread to the right place.

 

I have for some days tried to get a 10GBe connection between my 2 unRAID servers. I have a "Chelsio Communications Inc T320 10GbE Dual Port Adapter" in each system. I just plugged in a DAC-cable and configured the IP for static. but nooooo that would be to easy, and it was. I found out that you MUST use the first port on this particualr NIC to get it to work!. The more you know.

 

This is in hope others experience similar issues. Just trying to keep the grey hairs at bay for my fellow un-raiders.
