December 2, 20205 yr Hi all, I just migrated from a Windows install to unRAID and i'm very happy with it overall. Thanks to this great forum I have fixed many issues I have but there is one I cannot seem to fix. Like the title says my whole unRAID server becomes unresponsive when Radarr is moving a file to the desired "Movies" folder. When it's done the server is working perfectly fine again. I have 4x 14TB disks, one said as parity and a fast M.2 SSD of 1TB used for cache. Do you have any idea what this could be? I also have a M.2 Samsung SSD wich is unassigned and not used at the moment, is it better to use that disk for my Downloads? I'm a complete noob in unRAID, so please bear with me 🙂 Edited December 2, 20205 yr by EmilioValentino
December 2, 20205 yr Probably has something to do with the relationship of the download folder to media folder. This may be useful - https://trash-guides.info/Misc/how-to-set-up-hardlinks-and-atomic-moves/#unraid Pinning Radarr to use less cores might be worth testing. I pinned almost everything to cores other than core 0 and it was somewhat helpful for me for overall system responsiveness.
