6.9.0-BETA25 no Automatic Spin Down Of Cache Drive In The Pool

The cache drive assigned to the pools does not automatically spin down. Now I can spin it down manually using the down arrow icon for that Cache Drive and Then it will spun down, as expected, but the automatic time spin down of the cache drive pools does not work.

Did you test in safe mode? There's a known issue with the IPMI plugin that causes that.

Yes, the IPMI plugin also worked fine on v6.8.3, that was just an example, there might be other plugins affecting pool spin down, so first thing to do is to try in safe mode.

Also, if safe mode doesn't help please post the diagnostics (downloaded when using safe mode).

Tools -> Diagnostics -> attach the zip file in full to your next post.

You are using an SSD for cache, spin down is now only done for non rotational devices, it's on the release notes.

Ok Thank you Johnnie! for all your help :) one last question do you know if that apply's to SSDs in the array or just cache pools

    Thanks JP
