  • [7.0.0-b2] Shares with primary storage to secondary storage is not working on zfs pools

    Hello,

The zfs mirror set as cache for the mover to move it to raidz1 does not work, it does not write any data at any time, it writes directly to the secondary storage.

I have tried in shares to remove it and put it back, also stopping and starting the array.

Cache zfs -> Tank zfs not working
Cache zfs -> array xfs it works

Looking at the changelog of version 7.0.0-beta2 it should work right?

    Thanks in advance.

As you can see in the image, I create folders or files but they appear directly created in the second storage, ignoring the cache.

You need to adjust the minimum free space, since the primary pool doesn't have at least 6.2TB free, it will go directly to secondary storage.

You are right I have set it to 100GB and it works, I guess when creating the array and put the cache the value “minimum free space” is adjusted well but not when it is a raidz1 pool.

    Thanks you

It should be correctly adjusted if the share was created like that, if it was initially created only with the larger pool, it won't readjust.
