• rc5 stuck at boot white cursor

    Usually (but not always) that would mean that in the BIOS boot order it's attempting to boot from a hard drive first.  Anything but the flash drive.

    I double checked that but it's still set to usb legacy with usb uefi fall back with all others disabled.   I flashed a new usb stick with rc5 same result.   rc3 boots.   I don't have rc4 to try.

    Have you run "make_bootable.bat" as administrator?

    I don't use windows but syslinux caused it to be bootable.   I don't know why rc5 didnt retain bootable or even the  new rc5 usb I made.  thanks squid,  sometimes its the easy things I forget.
