  • 6.10.3 GUI Crash

    • Minor

At first upgrade from 6.9.2 went smoothly and Unraid started as usual and ran without problems for at least several hours, but overnight GUI crashed. Docker, Stats, Dashbord were unreachable. Anything that required realtime updates seemd to hang. Other tabs worked fine, as well as smb and all at that time running Dockers (plex, nzbget, sonar). No VMs running at that time. Log showed no problem. Downgrade button via tools did not work, Terminal unresponsive (except login and output worked). Terminal showed " server reached max_children setting (50), consider raising it" Power down via gui did not work power down via pc button did not work (init terminate started but would not finish after 15min). had to hard power down via reset button. After reboot which went without errors immediately initiated downgrade to 6.9.3 which worked fine. No Problems ever so far in 6.9.2

Very similar thing happened to me twice now since updating to 6.10.3 . Except I can't get terminal to load at all and I cannot SSH in. Some dockers keep running and others don't. Most of the GUI is either extremely slow to load or unresponsive alltogether. Diagnostics also would not download for me.

syslog was without any clue no red warnings except root logins ;-) and ssh was kind of strange, you would get to login but no prompt after that. So absolutely useless. Reroll to 6.9.2 solved the Problem for me so far. It was perfect running on 6.9.2 since release anyway. The GUI Problem affected mainly all non static pages (Dashboard, Statistic, etc) and the docker Page. The Dockers themselve were not affected. Plex Server was alvail. and played clips.
