  • [6.12.6] Stuck on Startup (triggering udev events: /sbin/udevadm trigger --action=change)

    Hey,

I just upgraded from 6.12.4 to 6.12.6 and can't boot up my server. It's stuck on "triggering udev events: /sbin/udevadm trigger --action=change" I have no idea what that means or what I can do to fix it.

I've tried resetting the BIOS, unplugging all PCIe devices, but that changed nothing.

    Hardware:

    i5-12500
    Prime H670-Plus D4
32GB 3200MHz (also tried without enabling XMP)
    1 PCIe USB Controller
    1 PCIe to SATA Card
    5 HDDs
3 NVMe SSDs organized in 2 pools
    No dedicated GPU

Before the update the server was working flawlessly with this exact setup.
I got the Unraid output from the iGPU. Screenshot attached. No idea how to get more diagnostic information without it booting up.

I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance.

    Henrik

Take the flash drive out have move all the bz* files from the /previous folder to the root of the flash drive.

You do have jumbo frames, and with the Reatek 2.5GbE and the current kernel that's a problem, see the release notes, you can wait for v6.12.7, remove jumbo frames or use the Realtek driver plugin.

Installing the "RTL8125(B) PCI Driver" by jinlife did the trick; I'm now running on 6.12.6, and everything is working fine, even with jumbo frames.

Thanks a lot for your help!
