• [6.8.x] Arrays temps not displayed when a custom SMART controller type is used

This is not a big deal and has been reported before on the general support forum, when a custom controller type is used for SMART you can see all the SMART attributes including temp, but for some reason temp is not displayed on the GUI or dash, other user was using the HP cciss controller and the same happens to me with an LSI MegaRAID controller, so looks like a general issue when using a custom SMART controller type.

Note, I'm using two disks in RAID0 for each device here, so I can only choose SMART from one of the member disks form that RAID, still I should be seeing temp from that disk, since all SMART attributes appear correctly, unless the GUI is not using the custom controller type to get the temp.

Did you try with the latest rc? Don't remember if this has been fixed or not, I flashed that controller to IT mode so no way of testing for now.

I'm running UnRaid 6.9.2 if that's what you mean.

I'm able to pass through all the SMART details and can see the temperature in unRaid GUI under the SMART details (after updating the device to be twa0 and specifying a unit number, like this thread:

but unfortunately the actual dashboard doesn't show it.

It seems the dashboard doesn't seem to support the "twa0" and unit number when grabbing the temperature, at least from what I can see, even though it does pull it successfully under SMART :(

rc means release candidate, at this time it's v6.10-rc2.

I thought so but couldn't find anything newer on the releases page, clearly I need to do some more googling, thank you!
