There's nothing logged in the syslog after 1:30AM, and the server rebooting on its own doesn't sound like an Unraid problem, but try downgrading back to v6.11 and retest.

So I've downgraded back to 6.11.5 and had to reboots for a week.

Tried the 6.12.8 update two nights ago with the macvlan settings according to the manual/help pages and sadly the server rebooted yesterday and the day before around 7 am again.

Any ideas/pointers as to what log files/config files would help?

    Edit found this:

And will try the proposed solution as it appears to fit my problem.

One thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker containers/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it doesn't crash start turning on the other services one by one.

    Good morning!
I actually did restart my server in safe mode last night and it didn't crash today at 7 am.

However I'm a bit stumped. I started the array while in safe mode and all docker + VMs are running - from which I'd say neither of the are the root cause of my crashes.

What else could be the culprit? All plugins are disabled ..

Ive tried the dymanix plugin disable plugin awhile ago and that didn't seem to help or really 'disable' the plugins.

Is any plugin known to cause crashes on 6.12?

Is there a way to list all running cron jobs? I assume somethings starts (or ends) at 7am, taking down the server while doing so.

If it works in safe mode it suggests a plugin issue, you can uninstall or disabled the plugins, and then install/re-enable one by one.

    Hi!
I've seemed to have found the culprit.

Yesterday I've done, sadly a bit much at once:

    installed appdata backup

    deinstalled CA backup

    deinstalled network statistics

    deinstalled s3 sleep

I'll reinstall network statistics and s3 sleep and will find the faulty plugin.

In any case the server didn't restart around 7 am today which makes me happy.
