• Increased power consumption after logging in

In the search of reducing power consumption I noticed strange behaviour when logging in the WebUI. After the server has booted the idle consumption is ~22W. This includes some Docker containers being active and even after some regular use such as Time Machine backup.

When accessing the WebUI, at the very moment I log in the power consumption increased to ~44W. Only after restarting the server the idle consumption goes down again. In syslog I found some interesting lines that only appear after the first time I log in:

May 21 21:54:45 Tyr webGUI: Successful login user root from 192.168.1.72
May 21 21:54:45 Tyr kernel: [drm] PCIE GART of 256M enabled (table at 0x000000F400000000).
May 21 21:54:46 Tyr kernel: [drm] UVD and UVD ENC initialized successfully.
May 21 21:54:46 Tyr kernel: [drm] VCE initialized successfully.
