  1. In the search of reducing power consumption I noticed strange behaviour when logging in the WebUI. After the server has booted the idle consumption is ~22W. This includes some Docker containers being active and even after some regular use such as Time Machine backup. When accessing the WebUI, at the very moment I log in the power consumption increased to ~44W. Only after restarting the server the idle consumption goes down again. In syslog I found some interesting lines that only appear after the first time I log in: May 21 21:54:45 Tyr webGUI: Successful login user root from 192.168.1.72 May 21 21:54:45 Tyr kernel: [drm] PCIE GART of 256M enabled (table at 0x000000F400000000). May 21 21:54:46 Tyr kernel: [drm] UVD and UVD ENC initialized successfully. May 21 21:54:46 Tyr kernel: [drm] VCE initialized successfully. Browser: Safari CPU: i5-9600K MoBo: Asus B360M-C GPU: RX 480 Unraid: 6.10.0
  2. My keyfile is exactly 8MB (8.000.000 bytes). Maybe that is the issue. For now the workaround is working fine and I am planning to automate the boot process, just like SpaceInvader One did in his video.
  3. Of course. But still the array is not started saying "Missing key". As a test, I copied the keyfile to /root/keyfile manually and pressed Start again. Now it works. It seems that the uploaded keyfile is not placed at /root/keyfile. I concluded this after several attempts. This might be a bug?
  4. To make my setup a bit more secure, I want to encrypt the disk array. After making a backup elsewhere, I've cleared the whole data array and set the disk format to xfs-encrypted. Then, after selecting a keyfile, I started the array and formatted the disks. This went well but after a reboot I'm asked to enter the keyfile again. This normal of course but the array won't start after uploading the same keyfile. What am I doing wrong? Or is this a bug?
