I think there's a misconfiguration in this container.

The mapping of Appdata should be "/prometheus" on the container side, not "/prometheus-data", otherwise the collected metrics are been written inside the docker image file.

Yes, you're right. Took me some time to figure out.

Now I can see the held data but don't know for how long because 14 days havn't passed since i made the cange and storage.tsdb.retention.time is still 0s.

    Guess I have to wait.

  2. Hey Guys,

I have a problem with Prometheus.

I'd like to change the "storage.tsdb.retention.time" in order to increase the amount of held information.

    I went after this instruction:

    https://prometheus.io/docs/prometheus/latest/storage/

Thats how my docker looks like:

    image.thumb.png.64c140b5eadab84ab808ae910b2b2941.png

The command runs fine and prometheus starts. But when I look at my command flags in prometheus, I see this:

    image.png.54ff5282a38041add4043a74291c155a.png

    0s at storage.tsdb.retention.time ...

Thing is, that I loos my data, everytime I start the container new. I dont want to wait another 15 days to see if I've done it correct.

And another question. Where is the storage for the data? Under /mnt/user/appdata/data is nothing (really nothing at all).

    Can anybody help? Thanks.

For some weird reason, your flash is actually reporting SMART values.   There is one attribute which states "FAILING NOW".  I did inquire with @johnnie.black and his opinion is that it's simply a firmware bug and there's nothing actually wrong.

    Now I found that too.

    @itimpi enclosed the flash diagnostic.

Glad that is weird but actually ok. Thanks!

Everything is developed with Chrome as the primary browser.  It's got to be an add on or something interfering.  It's the one browser I guarantee will always have zero problems.

    You are a genius.

Had a Etherium-Wallet Plugin installed (MEWconnect). After deinstallation the CA works again in Chrome. Thank you very much.

    For my understanding:

How did you found out, that my flash-drive is dying?

Please dont understand me wrong. I dont want to question your skill.

I just want to learn how to find that out, because what I see is, that everything is fine with the flash-drive.

What I unfrequently get is a udma crc-error count on my disks here and then. But until now, no hint on the flash-drive.

    And thanks again!!

Just pumped out an update that should hopefully give some more information, rather than everything being stuck in an alert

Thank you really mch for your effort for me.

Enclosed a file in which I copied the shown error, after I click on agree (disclaimer of CA).

I'll try that hint with the change of my boot media.

    Unraid CA Error.txt

  6. Hello community,

I have following problem to install the CA:

After I install the plugin and try to agree to the disclaimer, following warning pops up and all I can do is approve the warning.

    "Error from POST call dismiss_warning.

    Tower/

    .inline_help{display:none}

    .upgrade_notice{position:fixed;top:1px;left:0:width:100%;heigth;40px;line-height:40px;color:#e68a00;background:#feefb3;border-bottom:#e68a00 1px ..."

    Can you help?

    Thanks in advance.
