  1. In case anyone ever finds this topic again, my current unraid installation is based off Slackware 14.2. So I was able to find a slackware package site and grab the sysstat package for 14.2- wget <url> then installpkg <file> # cat /etc/*release* NAME=Slackware VERSION="14.2" ID=slackware VERSION_ID=14.2 PRETTY_NAME="Slackware 14.2 x86_64 (post 14.2 -current)" ANSI_COLOR="0;34" CPE_NAME="cpe:/o:slackware:slackware_linux:14.2" HOME_URL="http://slackware.com/" SUPPORT_URL="http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/slackware-14/" BUG_REPORT_URL="http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/slackware-14/" VERSION_CODENAME=current
  2. This guy managed to cross-flash and now is selling it on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/LSI-9400-8i-Lenovo-530-8i-12Gbps-Tri-Mode-SAS-SATA-NVMe-HBA-P9-IT-mode-ZFS/163533879633 "They have been cross-flashed to Avago / LSI 9400-8i Tri-Mode IT (Initiator Target) firmware version P9 (specifically 09.00.03.00)." but yeah looking at the 9400-8i page I don't see anything mentioning IT mode, or that specific version. I'm guessing they removed that firmware since its probably out of date, but now wondering if the firmware up there supports IT mode.
  3. I'm having a rough time finding any firmware for SAS3408. I found a post suggesting that IT mode might be present in some version of this firmware https://www.broadcom.com/products/storage/host-bus-adapters/sas-nvme-9400-8i but I don't see any kind of indication that the firmware listed here actually supports IT mode. How does one know if a firmware supports IT mode? They don't make this easy do they..
  4. I tried installing this card into a machine and booting into unraid, but the drives aren't recognized. Has anyone used this card with unraid? Is this compatible? I am guessing I need to 'flash to IT mode' as indicated in some posts, but not sure how to accomplish that.. Any pointers?
