Hi all, I would really like a guide on how to setup an xpenology VM for Unraid 6.8.2, I tried using the steps from https://forums.unraid.net/topic/71316-xpenology-vm-any-one-running-this/ and from https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/24168-dsm-621-on-unraid-vm/?tab=comments#comment-129798. I was partially successful with the synoboot-ds918_1.04b loader and the DSM_DS918+_23824_(6.2.1).pat but with network adapter e1000 set to bridge I only got a 169.254.* IP address on my VM and I was basically unable to get this to work. I have updated the MAC to my Unraid host MAC & SN is the one already present in the synoboot.img If anyone can share their loader/pat combination and some VM settings I would really appreciate it. I am almost ready to decomission my Synology box but there are some apps which are very integrated in my workflow, would be great to finally get this working on my Unraid server. Any help is much appreciated.
  2. If anyone is running Xpenology on Unraid 6.8.2 I would really appreciate knowing the loader/.pat versions and some basic VM setup info (MAC used, disk setup, etc).
