  1. I seem to be going in the right direction. Thanks again for your input.
  2. Something is up with the system, I have been trying to offline the array for about 10 minutes now. Normally, it comes down quickly.

  4. Many thanks! This is exactly what I was looking for.
  5. I have an array of five 8 TB drives (four data drives, one parity). One (data) drive has died. I am going to replace it. I know the parity drive should be the largest in your array. That being said, can I replace my failed 8 TB drive with something bigger - possibly only being able to use the first 8 TB?
  6. I was able to fix this. Here was the problem: I have 5 disks, one of which is parity. on Disk 4, there were two folders, one named "share" and one named "Shared" <--note the capital S. Disk 1 through Disk 3 only had the lower case folder. I removed the "Shared" folder from Disk 4 and all is well now. Thanks for looking at my problem.
  7. Hey, need some help from the community today. Yesterday, I had to reboot my unRAID box. Nothing special about the reboot, however, when it returned to service, my primary share (called Share) was showing no data in it. The share existed as I can browse to it, but there is nothing showing in it. Also, I can browse the disks and see the data, and apps (plex) is still able to read it. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Sort of sweating it here. Thanks, Rob deathstar-diagnostics-20201204-0852.zip
  8. FYI Just as a followup to this, I believe disabling the c-states worked. No mysterious lockups in the last several days. Thanks for the advice!
  9. I checked, I am at the most current rev. Thanks! I disabled the c-states, took a bit of hunting in the BIOS, now we wait to see if it changes anything.
  10. Just as a quick follow up, I was able to locate the settings in my BIOS to allow me to disable the c-states, all in all seems sort of crazy, maybe even a manufacturer defect. Thanks for the link.
  11. No, but I am reading through this now. Thanks!
  12. I am new to unraid, so please, be gentle. For reasons I have yet to nail down, I get regular lockups, I would say on average one per day. I am hoping someone can take a look at my diagnostics and give me an idea of how to fix this thing. unraid 6.8.3 Ryzen 1700x ASUS Prime B350 Motherboard 32 GB ram 2 x 12 TB WD Red drives 1 x 500 GB nvme cache drive Hopefully this is enough to get things started. I appreciate any help you may provide. Thanks! Rob deathstar-diagnostics-20200422-2133.zip
