  1. I would order the CX600 an hour before reading this. Too late to cancel order. Oh well...live and learn I guess. I ordered the TX series and I will RMA the other one... Thanks for saving me a headache though trying to troubleshoot!
  2. Thanks for the response. What would be the benefit of one of those as opposed to something like the CORSAIR Builder Series CX600?
  3. Alright I decided to pull the trigger on the i3/Supermicro board. What do I need to look for in terms of a powersupply for this board?
  4. Hello all! As the title states I have two builds that I need help deciding between. The first is the X9SCM and i3 combo, which i understand is widely supported by Unraid. The second is a more "watered down" option. I was looking at the following Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157274 Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103873 My question now is, with there being over a $200 difference in price what am i gaining/losing by choosing either build? It seems the money would be better spent on drives. However, I do not want to sacrifice performance. The server will initally consist of 3 total drives, however that may increase. It will be used for streaming one-two .mp4 movies across my lan. Thanks!!
  5. Talk about missing the boat....I think i'm going to :'(
