  1. @trurl Nope, I run a parity check like once every four to six months and do nothing else.
  2. Hi, just wanted to hear some opinions on whether I should add a second parity drive. My server currently has 4 16TB drives that are about 2 years old, but the drives are full and I recently purchased 2 additional 16TB drives. It is just a media server(my irreplaceable files are backed up more securely in a different way), so I could get all the data back, but 50+ terabytes of data would be a pain to replace. I have seen a lot of people say that you should add a second parity anywhere from 6 to 12 drives. My NAS only has space to add 2 more drives, and 16TB will only last me another couple years. I know the larger the disks in the array, the more risk there is of a failure while rebuilding. Guess I'm just wondering if I'm asking for trouble if I get greedy and only opt for 1 parity drive. Thanks for any thoughts.
  3. My client is currently limiting itself to 500 active torrents and 3 active downloads even though I've set the queuing preferences to 3000 total, 5 downloading, and 2995 seeding. Anyone know why the preference settings aren't being followed? Edit: Also tried setting values to -1 with no effect either. Edit2: I activated the scheduler plugin, which can also control queuing, and it was able to solve the issue
  4. Hello, wondering if someone can help me out, just built a server this week for media/game server/tbd. I'm an extreme novice at the moment. I installed deluge and got everything working. I created a share called downloads that I would like to be able to use going forward, however I also would like to be able to seed files from my media share, which deluge does not have access to. I tried to add a second host path for /media, but when I put /data as the container path, I get a mounting error for having multiple /data paths. I want to keep the media and download shares separate for permissions/security reasons. How can I add a second folder to seed from? Really appreciate any help/education
