  1. Tried Libre-Mate, and I wasn't able to connect with Microsoft remote desktop, so I tried mRemoteNG and that worked. Removed Libre-Mate, started Crashplan Desktop, and tried to connect with mRemoteNG, and it didn't work. Thanks for all the effort anyway Mark
  2. I don't have another pc, but I just installed the Microsoft remote desktop app on my Android phone and tried it from there. Same results. Thanks, Mark
  3. Ok, thanks for that, this makes sense now, but that brings me back to the problem that I'm no longer able to connect to Crashplan Desktop. It was working fine, but then stopped. I didn't change anything, but I did reboot the server. I don't have it set to auto-start, so I started it manually. Here is all that shows up in the log: The log looks about the same on my system so that is probably ok. Did a reboot on my system and have no problem starting the CrashPlan Desktop Docker again and login with remote desktop. Is your Desktop Docker running so it’s only the remote desktop login that fails? Running out of ideas right now… Yes, that's correct, remote desktop doesn't connect. I've tried restarting the desktop docker, but of course that's not helping. One thing that was happening before it stopped connecting is that it would usually take a couple of login attempts before it would work. I'd usually get an error message with the first, and sometimes the second attempt. Sorry I didn't note what the error message was (it wasn't that the password was incorrect though), but anyway now I'm not even getting the login screen. I should also mention that, although this problem started before upgrading, I did just upgrade to Windows 10. I'm really confused here. The upside is that from logging in to the Crashplan website, it appears that it is still making progress with the backup, so I guess that's good, but I wish I could still get to the desktop gui. Don't know what I'll do if I need to change anything or add new directories to be backed up. Appreciate your efforts anyway. Thanks, Mark

  5. Sorry I wasn't more clear. My pc is backing up to Unraid, and Unraid is backed up to the cloud. I have the Crashplan & Crashplan Desktop Dockers installed, and the Windows app on my pc. Thanks, Mark
  6. Ok this is weird. I just got this working, but then had to shut down the server for a bit, and now I can't access Crashplan Desktop. Crashplan appears to be running fine, and my Windows computer is backing up to Unraid without issue, but I'd still like to be able to access the desktop, even if only occasionally. I tried restarting both Crashplan and Crashplan Desktop, then tried rebooting the server again, none of which helped. From reading here, I am getting the impression that I should be able to control the Crashplan server from my Windows client, but I'm not seeing how to do that. I can see how to use it to back up my Windows pc to Unraid, but not how to backup Unraid. Am I mistaken that this is possible? If it is, then I won't worry about the Crashplan desktop docker. Can anyone point me in the right direction either way? Thanks everyone for your help. Mark
  7. I've been trying to figure out how to get Crashplan working for a while now. This is the first guide I've found that helped me get it up and running. I'm the type who has just enough tech savvy to break stuff, and not quite enough to fix it most of the time, so this is just what I needed. Thanks!
  8. Alright, I think I answered my own question. Right after posting this, I checked the appdata share, and for whatever reason it was not a "cache-only" share. I am certain I had that set up correctly to begin with, so not sure what happened, but I corrected it. I think this should fix the issue. Thanks again for the help. I'll follow up if this problem comes back but I think this should fix it. Thanks, Mark
  9. Ok, following up again, before re-installing I tried completing the wizard once again, and the missing directories are back. I'll see if the same thing happens again. It usually takes a day or so before it does, and if so I'll delete and re-install to see if that works. Mark So it happened again this morning, and here's what appears to be happening. My /config directory is mapped to /mnt/cache/appdata/couchpotato, where appdata is a cache-only share. When the wizard is completed, it creates a config.ini file in that directory, as well as a data directory, which contains the directories cache, custom_plugins, database, db_backup, and logs. At some point, however, the config.ini is getting deleted, as are all of the directories inside that data directory except database and logs. I'm not sure why those 2 directories are surviving when everything else is being deleted. I'm going to delete this and re-add it now, but I'm not sure this is going to solve the problem. Any idea what is happening here? I also have sickrage and sabnzbd installed on the same drive and they are working fine, so I don't think it's the hd itself. Thanks for all the guidance so far. Mark

  11. Another follow up here, I see where it's not finding the /config/data/cache directory (/config/data is there, but the cache directory is not), and I checked and indeed this does not exist. Should it have been created during the installation, or is this a directory that I need to create myself? Thanks, Mark
  12. Hmm... This is certainly a possibility, especially since it's a fairly old drive, though Couchpotato seems to be the only thing giving me problems at the moment. I will try deleting and re-downloading to see if that helps. Also, I'm not even close to a linux expert but I googled and found the command smartctl to check the drive for errors, and it found none (and of course the Unraid dashboard also shows 0 errors). I'll report back after I try re-downloading. Thanks, Mark
  13. I'm having a problem with couchpotato. It runs great for a while, then I connect and get nothing but a white screen. It still shows as running from the unraid dashboard, and if I try restarting it, it works again except that it takes me back to the setup wizard, and I can't get to the home screen (trying just takes me back to the wizard again). If I complete the wizard, my library and wanted movies are all still there, but it's annoying to have to go through this every day or 2. Another minor issue is that after completing the wizard none of the thumbnails are there anymore. I've attached my log. Any help here is greatly appreciated. couchpotato.txt
  14. Thanks, I don't see any reference to an appdata directory, but I had already changed the config dir to /mnt/cache/.sickbeard/config. I suppose I shouldn't complain, but this seems really weird that it just suddenly started to work. I forced Sickbeard to re-download a few old episodes just to test it, and it still seems fine. No issues with Couchpotato either. Hopefully it keeps going as it is.
  15. Thanks NAS & dlandon. I did use /mnt/cache for all my plugin installations. I have searched the forum but I haven't found the solution, but now it gets weird. The strange thing is that this seems to have spontaneously resolved itself. This morning I noticed that a few shows were downloaded overnight, and were successfully moved/renamed correctly. I was also able to run manual post-processing in Sickbeard for the ones that were not getting moved last night, and it worked fine. I'll keep watching it. I'm really confused as to why this would happen. I'm not sure I should mark this as "solved" since I haven't done anything to fix it, but for the moment it seems like it's working.
