  1. I have a "download" folder on my unraid that capture various files I gather from various locations (internal and external). For example when I burn Music or DVD for Plex. Then, I want to move file from the "download" folder into specific folder, for example Movie Plex. When I cut the file from "download" and paste, I only get 5mb/s to 20mb/s... When it starts it's at 200mb/s but quickly goes down to 5 to 20mb/s Any suggestion to improve transfer speed? Thank you. Here is my set up.
  2. @Mike Henderson Thank you, I had the same issue and same resolution. Used Sata 9 - 10 of my mobo and didnt work. Checked the Sata config and bingo! Thank you!
  3. FYI, issue resolved, it was an issue with the IPS provider. Thank you all.
  4. Yesterday I ran the latest update of the different dockers I have. Today I cannot access the "live TV" of plex. I have the below error: Play back error Could not tune channel. Please check your tuner or antenna. Plex logs error attached Critical: libusb_init failed I use HDHomerun as tuner Unraid: Version: 6.11.5 I can play Movies from the unraid shared but no live tv. Any suggestion? Thank you. plex log 2 3 23.txt
  5. Sorry, I am learning as I go: Can you explain your previous comment? 1- DHCP for the IP on unraid? But the IP comes from the router when it will be turned on? 2- Fix IP on pfsense for the unraid server using Mac, using DHCP lease I guess? I am confused it seems to be eggs or chicken first.
  6. Is it better to not use dhcp and create a fix ip for unraid ?
  7. So this is where I am, do I need to plan anything else before turning off the old router and plugging the new one? SSL/TLS: No setup below. Will my unraid IP change?
  8. it seems that this was already set to NO on the unraid.
  9. Thank you all for your responses so far. So, if I create my new ip on my new router to be 10.15xxx will my unraid stay with 192.168.xxx? My main concern right now is to keep Plex working for the family. -can I lock my old 192.168.xxx for unraid, if yes how? -is it better to use the 10.15.xxx my new router will assigned (DHCP) ?
  10. I don't know. I am using default setting for unraid, and my router.
  11. Good point. I will use 10.xxx or 172.xxx. Now in terms of switching my old ip to my new ip, is it going to generate issue with my unraid ? Is my unraid going to change ip? What s the best approach ?
  12. I am planning on changing my router to a new pfsense box. My current IP is set to 192.169.59.xxx. I would like to create a new set of IP with my new router for personal use 15.15.15.xxx, for guest 15.15.50.xxx and last one for IOT devises 15.15.100.xxx is it not recommended? How will my unraid “react” to that? What are the best practices when changing your router? Thank you.
  13. It seems that DHCP had some issue, found the resolution to force refresh DHCP, to run from the console directly: ifconfig br0 down && ifconfig br0 up
  14. Thank you, i am pluging back my old router and will reset my pfsense accordingly. now I turned on my old router and my unraid IP has changed from 192.168.59.xxx to 169.254.53.xxx and cannot access the web... I am confused...
  15. I ran unraid with my "old" router (Asus) with no issue. Today, I installed a new pfsense router on a new hardware, new box. Before I setup my new pfsense router, I set the unraid network.cfg file to keep my initial IP: Use_DHCP set to NO 192.168.59.xxx Now the new pfsense router is running (10.15.15.xxx) but I can no longer access unraid webUI using its IP. I have the below message: "The connection has timed out The server at 192.168.59.xxx is taking too long to respond." Any suggestion?
