  1. I'm slow finding time to attend to my problem. JorgeB answered my big worries. bmartino1 gave great references to docs. It's been a few years since I've had to work with my unraid server; and then I lost power and the power supply. I've just replaced the power supply. The server powers up, but I can't find it on my network. I'm stuck so I'm going to try to install the latest unraid OS on a different USB drive. No real questions, suggestions will gladly be considered.
  2. I have had a server running 4.7 for years. Can I install 7.1.0 unto a new USB and boot the old machine straight to 7.1.0? Will my array disks keep all the old data? How do I get the new version to recognize my old array configuration? Is this covered in the documentation? I'd be happy to go read.
