How are you supposed to fit it in physically? If the slot is not cut at the lower end, you simply can't.

It will be out of sight. I use the previous version PC-A77, which in addition has room for another 3 internal hdd's using its own cage at the upper back side of the case. If your main goal is to add-remove drives from the front, the cheapest solution that I have found is this http://www.xcase.co.uk/product-p/caddy-53v2.htm and is also based in the U.K. I already own three of them (the previous revision) and planning on acquiring another one soon. Good luck.

I have 4 WD20EARS and 5WD20EARX for about a year and a half, no issues so far.

Although this is an old post, I can also confirm mixed drives setup 2TB and 3tb all of them working flawlessly with the card using 4.0.0.1200 driver, both in WHS2011, Win 7 and Win 8. I am also going to test it under unRaid.
