The shared drives are connected by IP to X:, Y: etc. As example, I see Documents (\\192.168.1.xxx)(Z:) I cant conenct to these and receive a 'Microsoft Winders Network: The local device name is already in use.' error. I also can't connect using the same unraid IP (or tower name) in a browser. I receive 'Unable to Connect' error from the browser.

Yes correct, I can't connect by either method. I've mapped a few drives (folders from unraid) and select these when I want access. For things like media and documents etc. I dont access them by IP directly.

Hello I have one PC (mine) that wont connect to Unraid via the IP address. It has connected in the past, although at times the shares folders in the network will refuse access. (Error is ussually 'The local device name is already in use') The other PC in the house will always connect with no issue, and also has no problem connecting to the share folders. Also any tablet or mobile connected via house wifi also will connect via the IP with no issue. I've tried all troubleshooting I can find, yet still can't find a solution; although I must admit, I'm not super IT knowledgable. Both pcs are connected via ethernet to the modem (Asus DSL-AC38U), which the server is also connected to. I've downloaded the diagnostics zip from the working pc, as I've never been able to sucessfully connect a monitor, keyboard and mouse to the Unraid server. Any help would be very much appreciated. Hello, I've been using unraid for a long time now, but now Im having issues. I'm not a big tech person, so if any help could be provided simply for my benefit, i'd appreciate that :) I can still use the dockers (home assistant, Jellyfin etc) with no problems. These also work after a restart of the pc. The drives that I have linked in a seperate pc via file explorer won't connect anymore (despite one of them being soley for jellyfin media, which still works fine). Also when I try to enter in the normal bookmarked IP address https://192.168 etc it give me an unable to connect error. I've checked the modem and this ip address still matches up. I've tried to connect a keyboard and monitor to the server, but no matter what I try, I get a black screen, so cant get any diagnostics. I have a 3rd pc which can access the media folder (mentioned above) with no problems. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

Hi I've tried to connect a monitor and keyboard to the PC running unraid (to try to get the diagnostics), however I get nothing appearing on the monitor. Sorry to be a noob, but is there another way to access them? I saw on this post; "If no network, then you will have to capture the syslog from your server console. Please see Capturing your syslog, and use the 'All Unraid versions' method. Move the flash drive containing the syslog to your workstation, where you can attach it to a support post." But the link doesn't go anywhere

Hello, I've been successfully using Unraid for a few years now and up until last night, it was all connecting ok. When I try to connect to unraid via its staticIP/Dashboard address (how I've always connected), it no longer allows me to connect. I also can't connect to any mapped drives. I run Home assistant via a VM on Unraid, and weirdly its still running fine and I can connect to that all ok. I have checked the IP address on my modem and this is still the same. I've restarted the PC I'm running Unraid on, and also restarted the modem. After a short period, my Home Assistant allows me access, but still I cant access Unraid. If anyone can help in a possible fix for this, I'd appreciate it a lot.
