  1. Updated to version 6.12.4 and then some days later I tried to update my docker containers and received an error I have never seen Error: failed to register layer: Error processing tar file(exit status 2. Thanks for that information I will try to isolate
  3. this post explains similar symptoms I do have custom ip's set on a few dockers so I did change docker network type to ipvlan but yet I continue to have problems
  4. So the server locked up today again requiring a hard reset, I looked at the syslog and there was nothing there so I looked in the IPMI log and I do see the below. I don't know how to figure out what is causing this. 0049 Wednesday, August 23rd 2023, 10:11:57 am Info0041hOS46h os_stop_or_shutdown 20h6fha1h61h74hRun-time Critical Stop - Asserted Event Data1 Run-time Critical Stop Event Data2 N/A Event Data3 N/A
  5. tank.sikonnet.com is a truenas system that is mounted on unraid. VM and docker backups are sent to this device
  6. I have been burdened with this issue for a while now the systems seems to randomly lock up requiring a hard reset. I have updated BIO/BMC to the latest release, ran a memtest which is fine. I am attaching a syslog which was captured before the system went down according to my monitor and it includes when I got around to hard resetting and downloading the log. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome. The monitor reports the system going down August 12, 1:18AM Motherboard - ASRockRack E3C252D4U CPU - i5-10400 Syslog Before failure.txt
  7. Something strange I observed before the server was completely unresponsive is I went to the servers WebUI and after putting in the username and password I was greeted with a "set password" screen which feels like my config was lost or something like that. I tried entering a password to see if I can login but it just went to the same screen. Shortly after I was not able to pull up the WebUI at all and looking at the console noting was showing.
  8. I thought my issue with the server crashing was resolved after I updated BIOS and BMC drivers but unfortunately that is not the case and the server just becomes unresponsive and no output in console. I am stuck I don't know where to look to even start narrowing things down. sikonunraid-diagnostics-20230418-1616.zip
  9. I deleted the VM that had this iGPU passed through to it originally. Rebooted the server and now everything look good
  10. I see the below in logs kernel: pci 0000:00:02.0: Removing from iommu group 2 Group 2 is not showing under system devices and I am not sure why this is happening. I am not sure where to look next or what to do. After a system reboot if I immediately go to system devices its there but shortly after it disappears. Something to note is this all happened after I installed Intel GVT-g app. Now removing it etc. makes no difference.
  11. Thank you for the information, in the motherboard the TDP showed correctly as 65 watts, I went ahead and disabled turbo boost; I will report back if I see any issues still. Again thank you for all your help.
  12. This morning the same problem occurred which is really strange because the system used to be way more stable. I attached diagnostics and I shutdown the 2016 vm which is the only thing different so we will see if this problem continues once it is shutdown. sikonunraid-diagnostics-20230112-0807.zip
  13. So this morning I woke up to the unraid server being unresponsive and the connecting through IPMI the console just showed a black screen. After reseting the system came back up and shortly after I pulled the diagnostic logs. The interesting thing is that the server didn't have the vm with iGPU passthrough configured . Sikonunraid-diagnostics-20230111-0656.zip
  14. I have ran a memtest a few weeks back with 4 passes and the test came back clean. Regarding the diagnostics I will have to reproduce the vm and then will post the diagnostics. Something to note is that when the vm is running without the iGPU passed through the vm is stable, the problem seems to start when I pass the iGPU through. Below is the memory dump from the vm . 15. I have a the following system specs ASRockRack E3C252D4U Intel i5-10400 64 GiB Mem The server is very stable and runs very well, I am having problems with a Win 10 vm that I passed through a second GPU (Intel UHD 630) . So I am able to pass through the igpu with no problems to the vm. After installing the drivers I am able to see the igpu and the system works fine. The problem starts after the vm runs for a while I get BSOD crashes randomly sometimes after 4 hours sometimes 8. Looking at the memory dumps I get the following errors which indicates its a driver problem. So I have tried the intel drivers as well as the windows driver which both have the same outcome. 16. 17. I am interested in passing through the integrated GPU in the 9th gen i5. Is this possible? I am reading mixed results? If this is possible how do I go about doing this? Thanks for any help upfront.
  18. Usually with this setting I can choose where to put the persistent data. Now that I think of it I guess this app has none. Anyhow when I install and start the docker it shows running and when I want to try and access the we UI it doesn't load. When opening console for the app I get "Error response from daemon: Container dea6f98601b5d5022e5a9f3db9e8f2e229dedff4ca1288bde8a9db79ae9e3c11 is not running" . Thanks in advance and I will check out OTP.
  19. I had installed password pusher a while back and then something happened where I deleted it and wanted to reinstall, ever since it installs but doesn't work. When I try to click show more settings to specify the path before installing it come up empty with nothing. It feels like there is some residual settings somewhere from the previous install or something. I deleted the image from apps as well with same outcome. Any help where I should look next would be greatly appreciated.
