So everything was working fine, started preclearing my first disk, came back a couple of hours later and I could not connect to the server anymore. Not quite sure where to start here. Hey everybody, apologize for my lack of knowledge here! First time ever using an HBA and unraid. First, unraid booted fabulously WITHOUT the HBA installed, but when it is installed all get is a flashing line at the top left of the screen. Hardware: Ryzen 7 1700x Gigabyte B450M DS3H LSI 9217-8i when I bought the HBA, the seller said it was flashed to IT mode which if I understand correctly is what I want with unraid. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks guys. -Justin

I apologize if there is a thread specifically for raid cards on here. I am having trouble finding a raid controller that can support raid 5/6, is within $100-$200, and obviously is compatible with unraid. The build will be an 8x8TB plex server. Currently on the hunt for a good deal on a mobo and a processor, got the psu (600w) and the case (Silverstone) The only thing that is stumping me is this damn raid controller. Any recommendations? Thanks!
