  1. Hello everyone, I've just set up a new Unraid server and plan to use it to host around 80 WordPress and HTML websites. I'm currently using a Cloudflare to Nginx Proxy Manager to WordPress/MariaDB setup. It's functioning, but I'm encountering a few problems. I'm storing the WordPress sites in the 'appdata' folder on an SSD because when I tried using the Array, webpage loading times were slow (10-15 seconds). However, I'm unsure how to configure the mover to automatically transfer the WordPress sites to the Array each day for backup purposes. I've established an internal network, which I've named 'Docknet'. I believe this should keep internal traffic off the Ethernet and enhance security, but I'm not confident it's set up correctly. I have four screenshots of my setup. Can anyone provide advice or feedback on whether my configuration is correct? Suggestions appreciated, I want to get it right before transition more site to this server. Durableman
  2. Good point...i will check them out. Looks like i just install either the MariaDB or MySQL docker first and then the Wordpress docker. Not sure how it support multiple domains and sites...but I guess I will figure it out. m
  3. Quick question... I have ~50 WordPress and 5 X-cart websites that I currently host on four AWS Linux V2 VMs. AWS is about to raise the price of the hosting by charging a monthly fee for the four IPv4 addresses i use AND forcing us to move from their Linux V2 distro to AWS Linux 2023 for my 4 VMs. I have all of my domains on Cloudflare and am considering bringing my hosting back inhouse via my Unraid server. I am going to assume that the Apache / PHP dockers I see available are probably not flexible enough for this task...or am I wrong? otherwise should I use a Fedora VM for this as CentOs is about to be discontinued? Or is there a better choice of Linux distro for WP website hosting? Yeah...definitely poweruser type questions :). dm
  4. All good thanks. I know the best thing to do is be patient and take it slow. Unfortunately because I cannot start the server my VM is down and i rely on it for my security cameras (Blue Iris) and also its my print server... but yes any guidance on how I can recover the data to the spare drive is appreciated. Thank you all in advance for advice, d
  5. Running two Unraid 6.12.4 servers. Am trying to consolidate data so I purchased another refurbished 16TB drive, ran it through pre-clear which passed and then moved 15.5TB of my data to it. 5 days later the drive just died...won't power up at all. No worries, right, I have a spare 16TB drive just for these situations and should be able to rebuild it from parity...but it won't work. I get the message: Stopped. Invalid configuration. Too many wrong and/or missing disks! I am perplexed...have read many posts and watched yt videos but nothing seems to be clear on how to fix this. here is the screenshot of the config: I read that I should go to 'tools->New Config' ...but the see the warning: DO NOT USE THIS UTILITY THINKING IT WILL REBUILD A FAILED DRIVE - it will have the opposite effect of making it impossible to rebuild an existing failed drive - you have been warned! what do to...i really need to rebuild this data using the Parity Drive...but cannot get started. any suggestions? towerii-diagnostics-20231103-2232.zip
