  2. Hoping someone can help me out. Running unraid 6.8.3. When I start Plex from AppleTv states that my version of Plex needs to be upgraded. I attempted to upgrade Plex from unraid Docker tab, however, keep getting message that configuration not found. Is there any other way i could update Plex?
  3. Completed, and everything seems to be working as before. Thanks for all the assist.
  4. Thanks @johnnie.black. With the base configuration, the server, and webgui are up. I have transferred my registration to the new flash. It's now time to reconfigure the new flash. Do you recommend trying to copy one config file at a time to the new flash, or rebuild from scratch? Thanks
  5. Will I lose any data on my hard disks using that method?
  6. Thanks for the help. I changed the setting to "no" and rebooted, but still no change. The webgui still cannot be accessed.
  7. Hello all, A couple of days ago, I had a power outage at the house, which took down my unraid server. Once the power came back up, the server came up, but the Web Gui would not start. My first inclination was to power down the server, and test the USB to see if it had errors (I had issues installing dynamix, and people suggested it was an error with my USB). The USB had errors, but I was till able to read the contents of the drive. I did a repair on Windows, and then copied all the files to my hard drive. Got a new San Disk USB and used unraid creator to prepare the new USB running 6.8.3 (my old version was 6.5.3). Copied the old config files onto the new USB and inserted into server and restarted. The server came back up, but the Web GUI still does not run. I rebooted the server directly into web Gui mode, but got an error on the web page, stating "FireFox cannot connect to localhost" or something similar. Opened up another firefox tab, and was able to connect to yahoo.com. Rebooted server in safe mode, but still cannot access the web gui. Attached is diagnostics zip file. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks tower-diagnostics-20200413-1500.zip
  8. Got mixed results when I rebooted the server. The corruption did not get fixed, however, my initial problem of trying to access shares drives from windows 10 did get resolved. I will call it a win. I need to finish transferring files over to the server, once I am done, I will power down and test the flash drive.
  9. I've been using unraid for a while, but never did any real work with since set up was so easy. Recently upgraded from 4.x.x version (can't remember exactly what version), to 6.5.3 and lost the ability to access the shares drives from Windows 10. I've searched the forums and there seems to be many different causes for this. One post I saw stated to make sure that the unraid server was the local master by installing the dynamix local master plugin. I have attempted to install, but keep getting "unable to create parent directory" error. Read that you can solve this by going into the flash drive and deleting the community.applications folder. I have to delete the folder, but getting "rm: cannot remove 'community.applications': Read-only file system" message. Doing an ls also shows invalid responses. Is the flash drive corrupt, or is there another method that I can use to remove community.applications and install the plugin.
  10. Joe L. Thanks. I checked my bios again, and sure enough the USB port was set to the 4th boot option. I assumed that the bios settings would be the same as it was with the old Flash drive, but I guess when it saw a new flash drive it reverted back to a default setting. Anyway thanks for your help.
  11. Hi all, I'm new to the board, and could really use some help. I've been using an old 256M flash drive to boot my 3 disk unraid server. This flash drive does not have a valid GUID, so I cannot use it to upgrade to a Plus Key. I purchased a 2G SanDisk Micro Cruzer hoping to use it but it does not seem to work. How do you copy the contents of the old flash drive to the new one? I thought it would be a simple process of making the new drive bootable and than just copying all the files over, but that does not seem to work. When I try that, and reboot the server, it just hangs. Any help would be great. Thanks
