  1. Like others in this thread, I can't get my SAS drives to spin up in my desktop. They work fine in my server with a backplane. Technical details: Drive: HGST huh728080al4200 SAS drives HBA Controller: LSISAS2038 HBA Controller: 9207-8i SATA/SAS 6Gb/s PCI-E 3.0 HBA FW:P20 IT Mode for ZFS FreeNAS (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BXDJFMS9?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) SATA to SAS adapter: 50cm Internal Serial Attached SCSI Mini SAS Cable - SFF8087 to 4x SFF8482 (https://www.startech.com/en-us/cables/sas808782p50) I've tried covering pin 3 and pins 1-3. I have no idea what the problem is but they aren't detected in BIOS/controller read-out in BIOS and they aren't spinning at all. Again, they work fine in my server with an older controller but with a backplane.
  2. Unraid 6.9.2 USB Manager 2021.09.18 usb_manager.cfg It hasn't worked before. The page in settings only has 3 settings Enable USB on dashboard, enable USB manager hotplug on VM page, and Enable USBIP. Nothing else is on the page. But it does say "Status: stopped" My use case is to manage a USB device that's used for backups in Unraid - not in virtual machines. Is that the wrong use case? I currently only have docker containers, no VMs.
  3. It was a new USB drive. Although I installed the old hardware and the old USB booted the system fine.
  4. I'm having an issue where if I click on "edit device settings" in the USB tab it goes to a blank settings page (see screenshot). Any idea what's happening? I don't see anything in the Unraid logs.
  5. I switched out my hardware and now Unraid won't complete the boot sequence. It stops at "starting rsyslogd daemon: /usr/sbin/rsyslogd -i /var/run/rsyslogd.pid" It just hangs there with a blinking cursor forever and goes no further. I'm not sure where to begin to diagnose the issue since I can't get to a log-in prompt and it hangs before I can access any of the management interfaces. I changed my motherboard, CPU, and RAM but I don't think it's related? Unraid will load a "clean" install but not my previous config so it might be related?
