Hi, a few days ago i attached an usb drive to my server. The usb drive is not attached anymore, but since it was, i got this message each night when trim is done: fstrim: /mnt/disks/Generic_Mass-Storage: the discard operation is not supported How can i get rid of this? Thanx, Jan

i just detached the drive from vm and it was shown as mounted at unassigned devices.. i unmounted and attached back to vm... will see now if this message will still occur tonight...

I got this email message each night related to a usb drive permanently attached to a vm: cron for user root /sbin/fstrim -a -v | logger &> /dev/null fstrim: /mnt/disks/NAS: FITRIM ioctl failed: No such file or directory Would be nice to stop fstrim to do the operation to this drive, but how???
