  1. Good morning, I'm looking for some hints how to improve my current unraid server. Current setting is: Motherboard: MSI B350M MORTAR Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 RAM: 16 GiB DDR4 HDDs: 4 WD red 4TB SSD: Samsung 850 evo 500GB Currently my idle consumption is 52W (HDDs spin off) I had to disable most of power saving setting in bios otherwise system crash Powertop shows C1 state 16% and C2 84% Do you think replacing Ryzen 1600 with 4350G (about 110€) allows me to improve C states? Or would be better to move on N100 motherboard? (overall price MB+RAM about 160€) what could be expected idle consumption for the 2 options? Thanks Regards - Massimilaino

Thanks for the feedback. attached full diagnostics. By the way I search for similar cases and other users with Ryzen experieced similar issue, probably related to processor frequency. I never experience any issue with this processor in the past (I used it in my main PC for 3 years with same motherboard and memory till I switched to a 5600X) Being a 1600 I'm not able to change cpu settings but mothermoard allows me to have kind of "gaming profile" and since I activate it, no failures in 2 days The only drawback is that idle consumption is now 70W while before change was around 55W, so I'm still searching for a solution Thanks Regards - Massimiliano tower-diagnostics-20210929-1430.zip
