  1. No i never add the line to the go file. guess I just got lucky. i had not switched cable to the new nic yet, just thought it would not work if i did not add the line. was wonder if i add the line would it make my onboard nic work. was nice it even kept IP. strange because i have IPs assigned by mac.
  2. So i switch cables to the new usb-c and rebooted and i got my 2500mbps. Thanks so much.. 😁
  3. I have an on board Realtek L8200A but only get 1gbps with no problems just want 2.5gbps. reading the forums said have problems with those did not list the l8200a specifically . seen the realtek drivers and got a usb-c with Realtek RTL8156B chip set. Diagnostics.zip
  4. so i installed the Realtek driver and it says for 2.5gbps I need to add to the 'go' file. 'ethtool -s eth0 autoneg on advertise 0x80000000002f' I dont have any idea where the go file is.
