I unassigned disk 5 and started the array. I'll quickly download 35GB of the most important remaining data and will stop it when I'm done. Can you assist me later?

I suspect, that I accidentally set the 1 TB as cache, because it was the lowest capacity disk at the time (Which would make sense for SSDs). Obviously, I should have checked if this was the correct drive (it was not).

Sorry, this is completely my fault. I just shut it down again and opened it to see what the drive exactly is - and there is a lot to process for me. First off, you're correct. The 1 TB is not an SSD; in fact, it is my old HDD which I assigned for cache for some reason (doesn't make sense at all). I completely forgot about this drive... So I did not move the cache SSD, but my old 1 TB HDD which ran months as the cache. I am terrified that I did not notice this earlier. The disk, that was originally meant to be the cache, sat in the M.2 Slot. I removed it to inspect it, and it seems to have a capacity of 512 GB. Additionally, I booted Unraid after the removal to see what disk will disappear - none did. Either it's dead or something else is wrong with it. But that doesn't matter for now - It looks like we need to recover the data from this 1 TB HDD, which I apparently set as cache.

Disk 5 is new. The NVMe was used as the cache disk before. The ST1000... should be the NVMe (which I moved from cache to the array). If you'd like, I can shut it down and take a picture of the drive, that sits in the NVMe slot - maybe that helps.

I don't know. I usually always edit files in "/mnt/user/", so I have no idea how "/mnt/cache" works. Maybe I panicked when I downloaded the diags and unassigned the cache to prevent further damage. Obviously, there must have been. After I canceled the job, I checked what data was deleted. The job said, that progress was about 2.3% of 1 TB. Most Docker container files were deleted, but most bigger and less frequently used files, like Videos and Series, have survived. I do not know exactly, how Unraid deals with caching - maybe frequently used files were moved to the cache - and I deleted them while moving the disk to the array? Is there a possibility to copy all remaining files in a secure mode, where no data will be written to the array - So I can download my gameserver maps?

Hello guys, recently I wanted to move my VMs to a SSD. For this reason, I bought a 500 GB SATA SSD on top of my already running 1 TB NVMe Cache. Today, I shut off the server and connected the new SSD. Since I want to run my VMs rather on the NVMe than on the SATA, I removed the NVMe from the cache pool and assigned it to the array. It said, that "All existing data on this device will be OVERWRITTEN when array is Started". Then, I assigned the new 500 GB SSD to the cache. After starting the array, there was a job "Disk Clear" running and I noticed that some of my Docker containers terminated. This "Disk Clear" deleted some of the files in "/mnt/user/appdata/". I immediately stopped the "Disk Clear" and stopped the array. What did I do wrong? Overwriting the cache shouldn't be a problem, right? Sadly, I do not have a backup of all data (about 30% is backed up). Can I restore this data, that was deleted? Hi everyone, i am trying to passthrough my GTX 950 to my VM. The GPU shows up in device manager, but it reports problems. The driver installation using GeForce Experience is failing with no error.
