  1. Upgraded 6.7.2 - 6.8.2 no issues all VM's start fine
  2. @jonp @limetech yet another RFS cpu stall issue to add to the growing list. By RFS I take it you mean ReiserFS. That's interesting because all my drives are XFS. I have added a system log and wanted to add it does not happen on B14a.

  4. Mine show the same but in Windows it says the adaptor speed is 10G so it may just be an error displaying the setting. I tried speedtest.net and got 60Mbps which is what I would expect. I also tried changing the speed from 10G to 1G and got the same results.
  5. I had that. Delete the downloaded GUI from the plugin folder.
  6. Thanks Tom upgraded without any issues - using stock web gui 18 disk array

Thanks for the update fingers crossed
  8. Just like to say thanks for the update. Looking forward to 5 finals.
  9. Just a quick update. Upgraded both cards to P14 and copied a couple of large file to the array. All seem good at this point and a bit faster the the previous RC's. 11. Any reason why you are on B14. RC5 had fixes for permissions.
  12. I got this error today trying to delete a directory. Once the drive had spun up it deleted on my next attempt. I also have another issue running RC3 but had it with b12a as well. When mounting and ISO with VCD via a user share I get and error that it is unable to mount. I have to use a disk share to mount the ISO. This happens on all of my PC's. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=16870.msg153854#msg153854 http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=14664.msg138449#msg138449 Appart from that it seems to be working fine on my 2 M1015's flashed to IT mode.
  13. I had similar problems with my GA-890GPA-UD3H in ACHI mode and the AOC SASLP. In the end I flashed mine up to .21 and installed it in the second PCIe slot. I Moved my IBM M1015 (flashed to IT mode) to the first PCIe slot. With this configuration I have ACHI on and the machine boots.
  14. Lots of people get these when preclearing on the AOC-SASLP-MV8 card. It's nothing to worry about and should preclear fine.
  15. The fans are 80mm I think but i'll check. I dont think a 92mm will fit (There is an extra picture on the newegg site of the back if you click on the pictures to enlarge them). I am going to replace the fans but have not yet. There is a 2 pin fan header with the fan connected but there is also a 3 pin fan header on so maybe connecting to this header will give some pwm control. I've still got one to put in so i'll take the back off (you need to do this to change the jumper for the fan speed) and post some picks of it removed.
  16. I've got 3 of the ones pictured on newegg from xcase in the UK. There is a jumper to change the fan speed but the are still noisy at 1/2 speed. Sata locking cables do fit.
  17. Joe I dont have a a firewall in place excelt the one built into my router. I don't get anything back once I enter the -d option on the screen. I get a bit more onfo in the syslog at the start with my details deisplayed It seems to work without the SSL but I don't receive the message.
  18. Joe, thanks for your quick response. Yes I can ping the mail server. My mail client is setup with SSL login. Here's the recommended setting from my isp SMTP server name smtp.blueyonder.co.uk SMTP SSL Enabled SMTP port 465 SMTP authentication Enabled (or 'Password' on Macs) SMTP username Full e-mail address, e.g., [email protected]
  19. I have a problem with mail at the moment. I have downloaded the lastest updatest mail and ssmtp packages and installed them. When I click on the test email button or enter echo -e "Subject: a test\n\nThis is the email body." | ssmtp -d root in the console I get the following message in the syslog and unmenu will stop working or the console will lock. Nov 4 20:18:33 Tower sSMTP[29122]: Creating SSL connection to host Has anyone got any suggestion on what I can do to resolve this?
  20. I added a second one and it was not reporting smart until the preclear completed . I will check it reporting smart and add it to my array tonight. One of the thing I did do on the first one was smartctl --smart=on /dev/sd? Good to hear you are up and running OK.
  21. As per the other thread I had similar issues with this drive and the AOC-SASLP-MV8 but managed to solve it by removing my Adatec 1210SA card. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=6191.0 What other cards have you got in the machine. Do you see a correct bios init for the card when booting up?

  23. Have you run into the issue as stated above "S3 suspend mode doesn't work well with these cards" ? Is the S3 Suspend Mode just the hard-drives spinning down from inactivity? That is fairly important, especially when you are running a tonne of drives and you really only need access to 1 of them when viewing content. S3 sleep is probably the next thing on my list. It did work when I tested it before I put this card in but I have not tested it since.
