  1. Thanks JorgeB, just wanted to follow up and say the issue was with the icyDock that I'm using. Works like a charm connected directly to the HBA. Thanks!
  2. That was the ticket! Any ideas why the LSI 9211 couldn't detect it?
  3. I still haven't had a change to give this a try. I should mention that I am using a Dell H200 6Gbps HBA LSI 9211, to connect my drives but I see what you're saying here. I'll follow up once I'm able to tinker. thanks again!
  4. Thank you I will give that a try
  5. I've recently shucked my Seagate Desktop Drive; which was loaded with a Seagate ST8000DM004. When I install the drive into the server like the other drives in my case, unraid doesn't seem to detect the drive. I've attempted the 3.3v mod with no such luck. I was able to get unraid to detect the drive if I connect it via a USB Sata Dock. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Rudy
  6. Hey I hope people are still reading this thread however I've just shucked this drive last night and haven't been able to get unraid to detect it as an unassigned device, any thoughts on what I'm missing here? Was there a pin I needed to block out or anything? This drive did come out of a known working case and was formatted before shucking and retested post shuck but still not being recognized. Any thoughts or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
