Unraid keeps freezing up
Interesting, but when I set up the syslog server, then pressed APPLY, my screens when blank - meaning that the GUI header is still there and I can select any of the Primary tabs, but there is nothing on the screen below. However, my Emby server is still running and functional, so it is not a 'freeze'. Apparently, I'll have to reboot - again. Here's the diagnostics data: embyserver-diagnostics-20220106-1437.zip

Can I bypass the cache when copying large amounts of data to the Unraid server?
Thank you. That looks like it will work. But I'm still concerned about the data in the cache that doesn't seem to want to move. I've got 12 folders (Media files) that seem stuck in the cache. Right now there is 57.8 GB used and the Reads and Writes counters are not moving. I select the MOVE button on the bottom and it greys out for a while but does not seem to change anything in the cache. Maybe I'll just leave it be for a while and shut off caching while I copy the remainder of my media files to the array.

Unraid keeps freezing up
My new Unraid installation keeps freezing up. Sometimes during an operation copying files, other times while just sitting there doing nothing and only after a couple of hours of uptime. Is there a log file that I should look at for clues?

Can I bypass the cache when copying large amounts of data to the Unraid server?
Since my cache is currently showing 866 GB Free and 132 GB used, how can I make sure that my array is updated? The cache is not changing and I'd like to bypass it to finish copying over all of my media files. Also, I'm still not sure how to bypass the cache. Do I somehow just shut it off while doing the copying? I've been using Krusader and copying to /mnt/user/Media Library. embyserver-diagnostics-20220106-1136.zip

Can I bypass the cache when copying large amounts of data to the Unraid server?
I'm copying 10 TB of media files to my new Unraid server using external USB hard drives. I think that the Samsung SSD 1TB cache drive is in the way of the process. The SSD heats up and has stopped the server at least once and therefore I am only copying the files in small batches - also because the cache fills up and stops the process. And now I'm reading that I may be wearing out my brand new SSD. Can I turn off the cache and copy directly to the array? Right now, my SSD has 644 GB used and 355 GB free and I'm wondering if it will ever finish writing to the array - It is going very slowly.

Need to change the port forwarding for new Emby Install
Yes, I have the Emby docker installed and I can see a column on "Port Mappings" but I don't know what to do about it. I don't know how to alter it. I'll look for a more applicable thread. Thanks.

New Emby Docker
How can I change the docker port mapping for Emby. I'm trying to change it from the default of 8096 so that I don't have a conflict with my legacy Windows-based Emby server that I want to keep running until I get the bugs worked out of the UNRAID server.

Need to change the port forwarding for new Emby Install
I'm setting up a new Emby Server, but this time doing it on UNRAID. I'm currently leaving the old Windows-based Emby on-line until I get all of the bugs worked out on UNRAID. I have a conflict on the port forwarding on the router (since both are set up to use port 8096) and therefore want to change the port that is used (8096) on the UNRAID server to something else. Ideas on how or where to change it?
